Happy Friday! It feels a little weird to open with that, considering what's happening in the world, but I'm always happy to see the weekend. 😊 I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and well. I'm still staying home as much as possible, which means I've been writing furiously and having a LOT of fun with Eliana and Dagon's story (The Segonian: Aldebarian Alliance Book 2). I also have been enjoying reading back through Broken Dawn, looking for fun excerpts and favorite quotes to share. 😉

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday! Since we only have a little over a month to go before the release of Broken Dawn, I thought I would give you a first peek into its pages that features Nick and Kayla (the hero and heroine):

He nodded toward her house. “Can I talk you into sharing a snack with me while we watch a movie or something for a bit? I know you need to go to bed soon, but I’d love to spend some time with you first. I promise to keep my hands to myself.”

Stepping back, she shook her head with mock disappointment. “I was going to say yes… but then you blew it with the hands thing.”

He chuckled. “And if I promise not to keep my hands to myself?”

Crossing to the back door, she opened it and offered him a dramatic bow. “Step inside, my dear sir.”

Those soft, full lips of his stretching in a smile, he did as ordered.
