Good news for the audiobook lovers out there . . . and for those who are interested in giving audiobooks a try for the first time.  Tantor Audio is having a great sale through the end of September.  Digital Downloads of the first five novels in my Immortal Guardians series are only $6.99!  You can find them HERE.

Fantastic reviews continue to roll in for Shadows Strike, my latest release.  I'm absolutely thrilled by the responses it's getting!  I love that so many of you are rooting for Cliff, and that you got such a kick out of watching my powerful Immortal Guardians interact with little Adira.  I admit her scenes were among my favorites.  :-)

Cocktails and Books gave Shadows Strike a wonderful review.  Here's a snippet:

You can read the full review HERE.

Thank you again, everyone who has rated and/or reviewed it!  I appreciate it so much!

USA TODAY Bestseller

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  Great reviews continue to roll in for A Sorceress of His Own—The Gifted Ones Book 1—as well.  So I thought, for today's selection, I would give you a narrative quote from it.  :-)
Turning, she exited the hall, her carriage painstakingly correct.  The violent trembling of her legs went unseen beneath the many folds of her robe, the rapid thumping of her heart unheard in the hush that followed her down to her chamber.  Closing the door silently behind her, she took two steps and halted.  The ancient, blood-soaked dagger fell from now nerveless fingers, hitting the floor with a clatter and splattering small, crimson droplets in its wake.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Rockin' Reads Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Rockin' Reads Giveaway Hop, hosted by The Herd Hops!!  Everyone needs a Rockin' Read! Stop by Sept 23rd to 30th and find out which reads have rocked 2015 for us! There will be a giveaway on each blog so don't forget to visit them all!

Thanks so much for joining us on the hop!  For the historical romance and paranormal romance lovers out there, I thought I would share two Rockin' Reads I released this summer.  :-)

A SORCERESS OF HIS OWN
The Gifted Ones Book 1
A USA Today Bestseller

Since the day Lord Dillon earned his spurs, rumors of his savagery on the battlefield have preceded him into every room, stilling tongues and sparking fear. Weary of battle, he wishes only to find a woman he can wed who will approach him not with fear, but with the tenderness that has been absent from his life for so long. Yet only the wisewoman seems invariably at ease in his presence. Perhaps because she garners the same fear in others that he does himself.

For seven years, Alyssa has been by Lord Dillon's side, counseling him from the shadows, healing him with her hands, and staving off the worst of his loneliness while his fearsome reputation keeps others at bay. Blessed—or cursed—with gifts that label her a sorceress, she is forced to conceal her youth and the love she harbors for him beneath umbral robes that lead Dillon and his people to believe she is the same aged wisewoman who served his father.  All is revealed, however, and passions flare when an enemy threatens Dillon's life and Alyssa sacrifices everything to save him.

SHADOWS STRIKE
Immortal Guardians Book 6
A USA Today Bestseller

U.S. law enforcement agent Heather Lane can read minds. But not the future. The dream of battle and blood that recurs every night must be a fluke, some obscure terror from her own mind. What its significance might be, she can't guess: an attack from seven psychotic vampires at once, only separated from nightmare by an eighth very different immortal. A handsome, brave man fighting at her side, a man she misses when she wakes.

Then the dream comes true. Heather is flung into a war between predators and protectors of humanity, the man from her dreams beside her again. Except now that she's awake, she isn't sure she can trust Ethan, or the shadow organization he represents. The U.S. military doesn't trust either of them. But against an onslaught of evil like the one that's coming, it will take everything they have just to survive...
(Can be read as a stand-alone novel
for those who are new to the series.)

My giveaway for the hop is a signed copy of either A Sorceress of His Own or Shadows Strike + swag.  (I know some paranormal romance lovers don't care for historical romance and vice versa, so I thought I'd give you your choice.)  :-)

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  For today's selection, I thought I would give you another peek into the pages of my latest release—Shadows Strike.  This scene takes place very early in the book, shortly after Heather and Ethan meet for the first time.  I'll add that it's been a rather harrowing morning for Heather, who has just discovered that vampires really exist.  ;-)
Heather dragged her gaze away from him and glanced down, surprised to see several scratches on her hands.  She much have scraped them on rocks or sticks when Ethan and the vampire had knocked her down.  Though the cuts weren't deep, they had managed to birth a few beads of blood.
She looked up at Ethan.
A faint amber glow entered his eyes.  Was he drawn by the blood?
She cleared her throat.  "If you start licking my hands, I'm going to totally lose it."
He laughed—a deep rumble that warmed her insides and demanded she smile in return.  Then his grin twisted into a grimace of pain.  "Don't make me laugh."
"Sorry."
Have a wonderful weekend!

A USA Today Bestseller

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  The Zach lovers out there seem to be enjoying his scenes in Shadows Strike.  He and Bastien are such fun characters to write.  They will just say anything and couldn't care less what people think of them.  :-)  So for today's selection, I thought I would give you a quote from Shadows Strike that features Zach and Lisette (hero and heroine of Night Unbound) and Ethan and Heather (hero and heroine of Shadows Strike):
“Does this mean we aren’t hunting tonight?” Zach asked from the kitchen.
Ethan tore his lips from Heather’s long enough to say, “I’m taking the night off.”
Then their mouths fused once more, hungry and aggressive.
“We aren’t hunting tonight,” Zach told Lisette, his tone deadpan.  “Whatever shall we do with ourselves?”
“Not what you’re thinking,” she retorted with a laugh.  “Our bedroom isn’t soundproofed.”
“So?  We’ll make a game of it.  I’ll see how many orgasms I can give you while you see how long you can go without making a sound.”
“Zach!”
“Come on, guys,” Tracy complained.  “I’m standing right here.”
:-D  Have a wonderful weekend!
