Favorite Quote Friday #113

Happy Friday!  I hope you're all enjoying the holiday season!

I have awesome news!  I finished Night Unbound, Immortal Guardians Book 5, and turned it in to my editor.  Woooooooohooo!  I loved writing Zach and Lisette's story!  So much happens in it!  For the Seth lovers out there, you'll see a lot more of him in this one and get an interesting look into his life.  ;-)

I also just found out that Night Unbound is already available for pre-order in paperback on Amazon!  And the release date is a month sooner that I expected!  The new release date is September 2, 2014.  I'm so excited!  It will be available in ebook format, but that usually takes a few months longer to become available for pre-order.  I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.  :-)

I don't know if you're like me and love giving books to friends and family members, but if you are . . .

Looking for a gift for the paranormal romance lover in your life?  Heat up their holidays with my Immortal Guardians!  :-)  All of the books are available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats:  AmazonBarnes and NobleAudibleiBooks

Did I mention that Étienne and Krysta, hero and heroine of Darkness Rises, were nominated for Hottest Couple in the Grave Tells Readers Choice Awards!  Yay!
RT Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Vampire Romance Nominee

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  For today's selection, I've chosen a snippet from Darkness Rises, Immortal Guardians Book 4, that features Étienne and Krysta.  I'll preface it by mentioning that Étienne is telepathic.  :-)

Fire licked through Krysta's veins as she locked her arms around his neck.  Her heart pounded a rapid beat as he slid his hands up her rib cage, his thumbs nearing her tingling breasts.

He murmured something in French in her mind.

Say it in English, she reminded him.

How you tempt me.

Good, because he tempted the hell out of her.

Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. :-) Actually, I write pretty slowly. It took me many months to finish writing NIGHT UNBOUND. Editing it took me about a month. Any time I have to cut scenes, it takes me longer. And this one came in about 15,000 words longer than is generally desired, so I had to cut about 40 pages. I think I read through it six times. Can't wait to start posting quotes from it. ;-)
