Favorite Quote Friday #76

Hi, all!  Can you believe it's Friday already?  This week really flew past!

Only a month to go before the release of Predatory — the anthology that includes "In Still Darkness" (an Immortal Guardians novella) — on May 7th!  Woohoo!  I'm so excited!  The reviews are already beginning to roll in.  I posted a couple last week by Publishers Weekly and Happy Ever After is so Once Upon a Time and found another just last night:

Boekie's Book Reviews gave Predatory 4 out of 5 diamonds and advised readers to "Try Predatory—a fun read with great characters."  :-)

I'm almost finished planning my Predatory Blog Tour, which will have a giveaway at every stop.  :-)  A big thanks to all of the bloggers who will be participating!

I also just gave away another signed Predatory ARC + Immortal Guardians swag to a member of my Street Team.  There's a drawing every month into which all active members are automatically entered.  If you'd like to join (you decide how active you'd like to be) or learn more, click on the button below.  :-)

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  Since my news this week all centered around Predatory, I thought I would give you your first sneak peak into "In Still Darkness."  If you're familiar with my Immortal Guardians series, "In Still Darkness" tells Richart's story.  If you aren't familiar with the series, Richart is a two-century-old immortal (born with the ability to teleport), who has an identical twin as handsome as he is.  ;-)  Here are the first two sentences:

Like the last survivor in a post-apocalyptic world, Richart d'Alençon strode down the deserted North Carolinian street.  Buildings long since abandoned for the night stared out at him with vacant eyes.

I'm off now to go over Darkness Rises copyedits.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Dianne
