Welcome to the Romance Madness Hop! I'm thrilled to be one of the participants because this hop, hosted by The Romance Reviews, is all about the romance. I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, and romance has always been my genre of choice. I love everything about it. That first glance the hero and heroine share, accompanied by the sudden racing of their hearts. Their first words. First shared laugh, particularly if that laugh is elicited from one who doesn't do so often. First touch. And, of course, those happily ever afters. :-)
While I read romances of just about every subgenre, paranormal romance is my favorite. That's why I chose to explore it when I dove into writing myself. So, for my prize, I'm giving away a signed copy of the winner's choice of one of the first three Immortal Guardians books + Immortal Guardians swag.

Immortal Guardians Book 1
"A thrilling and chilling new paranormal series. Fantastic!"
4.5 stars, RT Book Reviews
In his nine centuries of immortal existence, no woman has tempted Roland as much as Sarah. But asking her to love him is impossible -- when it mean forfeiting the world she's always known, and the life he would do anything to protect.
Immortal Guardians Book 2
"This blend of kick-butt action, intriguing plot twists and heartfelt passion is utterly addictive!"
4.5 stars, RT Book Reviews
Ami isn't much for trusting strangers. She has a hard time trusting
anyone. But she's no coward, and she's no pushover in the protection
department either. So when she comes across a mysterious warrior taking
on eight deranged vampires on his own, she doesn't hesitate to save his
bacon. Of course, that was before she realized what one little rescue
would get her into . . .
Marcus Grayden has been an immortal protector of humanity for eight hundred years, and at the moment he's not interested in backup. From the moment Ami arrives in his life, he can't deny that she's strong, smart, and extremely skilled at watching his back. But she's also destroying his protective solitude and stirring desires he can't bear to awaken. After all, whatever her secrets -- how can she defeat death itself?
Immortal Guardians Book 3
"With this excellent entry, rising star Duvall is fast proving to be a major player in paranormal romance!"
4.5 stars, RT Book Reviews
Bastien is used to being the bad guy. In fact, he can't remember the last time he had an ally he could trust. But Melanie is different - and under her calm, professional exterior he senses a passion beyond anything in his centuries of experience. Giving in to temptation is out of the question - he can't put her in danger. But she isn't asking him . . .

Thank you so much for this giveaway!
Been "loving" romance novels for over 20-years cuz of the fact that it makes me laugh, cry, snicker & smirk, fantasize, sigh, attending Romance Book Reader/Writer convention, and it gives me pleasure when reading a book in public, my facial expression or the sound I make have people taking a quick glance at the book I'm reading, possible wondering....paranormal romance-KINKY!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI love romance because of the HEA; I read the ends of books before buying to make sure the ending is to my liking!

ReplyDeleteI want to win because reading romance is the only way that I have any romance in my life. I have been divorced for eight years and haven't even dated yet. Needless to say, I find my men in the pages of my books. I fell in love with this series when I met Roland for the first time and witnessed his tenderness. This is a great series!!!

When you work in a fairly mundane, yet demanding profession, reading romance is a way of escaping all the things that wear you down.
ReplyDeleteIf you are fortunate enough to also read fantastic series written by exceptionally talented authors...all the better!
The right story can also add a bit of spice to your private life too!

I like the HEA.
ReplyDeletebn100candg(at)hotmail(dot)com
I love romance because it reminds me of what I felt when I finally met my man. I also love what I call, "the chase"; the momentum that leads them into each others arms.
ReplyDeleteI love to read good romances because they take me away from my own life for a short while, as I am absorbed in reading the book, and absorb me into the feeling of being someone else.
ReplyDeleteI love romance because it lets me escape for a little while, and I'm usually guaranteed a HEA. :)

I love romances because it's nothing that you'll see no days...I mean yeah some guys try, but you'll never see them fight for the right of a woman they love, it's just too hard. You don't see men opening doors as a normal thing, it's just the ideal that hey once upon a time....you can escape the reality.

I love romances because they take me to another world. When my day is rough, I can get lost in a world that that is full of magic. Also, romances allow me to see what true love is. Plus, the men in romances are so hot, who wouldn't want to read about them. Give me an Immortal Guardian any day.
ReplyDeleteLove reading Romance for the HEA. Also, the Heroes are to die for no ?
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to find one like them in the real now. lol
It also pulls me away from the harshness of reality and I go for the ride with the characters.
