News, Reviews, Character Interviews, and Immortal Guardians Music Monday

Happy Monday! Wow, that's something I never thought I'd say. I've never been particularly fond of Mondays. But I have lots of good news to share.

Reviews
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First, my editor sent me two awesome reviews for Night Reigns:
"Duvall’s follow-up to 2010’s Darkness Dawns crackles with energy, originality, and a memorable take-no-prisoners heroine…Whizzing along at light speed while neatly incorporating components from the series start, this sophomore effort sizzles."
~ Publishers Weekly
4.5 stars, Top Pick
"The promise shown in the launch book of Duvall’s terrific Immortal Guardians series proves quite justified in this action-packed sequel. All the previous players are back and there’s more mystery in their world. This blend of kick-butt action, intriguing plot twists and heartfelt passion is utterly addictive! Talented Duvall has carved out a solid place for herself in the paranormal genre."
~ RT Reviews
Darkness Dawns also received another good review:
"Darkness Dawns is a strong paranormal story with an intriguing cast of characters."
 I also have some contests to announce.
I'm giving away a signed copy of Darkness Dawns + Immortal Guardians swag over at Ramblings From This Chick on October 26th.
I'm also participating in Reading Between the Wines' big Creatures That Go Bump In The Night event and will be giving away a signed copy of Darkness Dawns + Immortal Guardians swag on October 29th.  The subject:  Vampires.   I, however, won't be doing the talking this time.  Roland and Sarah will when they are interviewed by Sheldon, Richart's Second.  Enjoy!
Immortal Guardians Music Monday
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's time for another installment of Immortal Guardians Music Monday!  Today's selection is taken from Night Reigns and is performed by the Andrews Sisters:  "Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen."  I think if I tell you the context, it might give too much away, so I'll let you guess.  Enjoy!

Have a fabulous week!

Dianne

  2. For me, too. My grandfather was a musician in a big band and played with some of the greats, so I grew up listening to tunes like this one. :-)
