Have you heard?  August is Read a Romance Month!  I'm participating in a great event, celebrating the Joys of Romance.  :-)  Join me and 92 other authors (some of whom are favorites of mine) and enter to win lots of goodies.  I'll be giving away signed copies of the first book in both of my series—A Sorceress of HIs Own, The Gifted Ones Book 1, and Darkness Dawns, Immortal Guardians Book 1—to one winner here in the US and one international winner.  My post will go live on Sunday the 16th at ReadARomanceMonth.com.

I thought I would share some of the latest reviews rolling in on Amazon and Goodreads.

A USA Today Bestseller

"A refreshing paranormal stroyline which takes place in the twelfth century.  The time frame alone brings a fresh take in this popular genre.  No the story isn't about vampires but it is so much better because it doesn't.  The main characters have a dynamic relationship that keeps the readers on edge waiting to see if they get their h.e.a. . .  Buy this book you all not want to put it down."
—Book geek

"LOVE Dianne Duvall's new series.  It is a fantastic insight to the beginnings and history of the Immortal Guardians series which I also really, really, really love (did I say really enough?!!).  Excellent action and ideas, they are funny, romantic, the males are very male and the women are strong and can kick butt.  I can't wait for the next book in either series."
—Dragonfly Dreamer

"I really liked this book.  If you like witches and magic back in the days of knight and kings then you will love this book.  I really enjoyed the action and the romance was wonderful.  I truly recommend this book to anyone who loves magic and romance."
—J. MEADOR "J. MEADOWS"

"Dianne Duvall did it again.  She sucked me right into her newest installment of the Immortal Guardians series.  The only thing stopping me from reading this in one sitting was my bodys need for food and seep.  It was that good. . . I love the Immortal Guardians books by Dianne Duvall, because she makes all of her characters look like a big, caring family I wish I could be a part of."
—Bookgatherer

"It's exciting and sweet, action packed and incredibly sexy.  I've been smitten with these Immortal Guardians since book one and each book keeps getting better."
—Dali

"This book had it all from action to romance. . . Ethan is sweet and protective but I loved his reactions when Heather showed just how kick @ss she can be! A brave heroine, a delicious hero and so many surprises. Yes it's fair to say I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read more."

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  A lot of audiobook fans have been asking me when Shadows Strike will release on Audible, so I just wanted to mention again that it will release on Audible on August 25th, the same day the paperback and ebook will release.  :-)  Until then, here's another peek into its pages taken from a scene that feature Ethan and Heather (the hero and heroine) and Zach and Lisette (the hero and heroine of the previous book—Night Unbound):
Silence fell as they all studied one another.
Lisette’s curious gaze kept darting back and forth between Ethan and Heather as if she were already sizing them up for wedding finery.
“I don’t think you want to do that,” Zach drawled, his dark gaze zeroing in on Heather.
“Do what?” Ethan asked, frowning.
“Read my mind.  There are things up there you really don’t want to see.”
Great.  Way to make her feel more comfortable, @sshole, Ethan thought dourly.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Dianne
