Latest News and Giveaways

Happy Friday!!  Sorry for the long hiatus.  Whatever nasty bug is going around has been making its way through the family.  I was down with it for a couple of weeks.  And I've been hard at work on Aidan's story (Immortal Guardians Book 7).  I'm really enjoying it.  Aidan and his heroine . . . and Sheldon, of course . . . have been making me laugh quite a bit.  And I already have favorite quotes and scenes I can't wait to share with you.  :-)

The most frequently asked question I've received of late is:

Q:  When will Aidan's book release?

A:  Right now I'm estimating late summer.  When I have the exact date, I'll announce it on my website, Facebook page, here or in my newsletter if it's up and running, etc.

Have you heard about The Romance Reviews 6th Anniversary Party?  Over 300 authors are participating and giving away over 300 prizes.  The Grand Prize is a $50 gift card.  I've already given away a couple of books.  But there's still a chance to win another.

Join the fun at The Romance Reviews on Thursday, March 30th, answer a quick question about A Sorceress of His Own, and you'll be entered to win a signed paperback copy + an Immortal Guardians and The Gifted Ones Swag Pack.

Speaking of A Sorceress of His Own, some great reviews have rolled in for it in recent weeks.

Rabid Reads gave A Sorceress of His Own a wonderful review.  You can read the full review HERE.

And readers continue to post reviews on Amazon:

"Enjoyed this book and the characters. I have read the immortal guardians series and liked that the author included some of the characters in this book. Can't wait to read the next one."
— Amazon Customer

"Needing a change from vampires and space aliens, I chose to go back in time and I am so glad that I did, I found the story to be entertaining and well written."
— S. B. Designs

"Loved it!  I couldn't put the book down! Not only a romance, but about the selflessness of this young heroine, inspiring bravery and courage in the face of scorn and adversary. Written beautifully! I look forward to reading the rest of the series!"
— Brenda Pontow

"I loved every aspect of this book. From Alyssa to Dillion. To Camden and Seth. I truly could not put this book down and devoured it in a few hours."
—Kindle Customer

"Lovable characters, decent story arch, and some very sexy scenes. If you enjoy forbidden magic stories, this is a great read."

If you haven't read Rendezvous with Yesterday yet and would like to get a glimpse of Bethany, the woman Marcus (from my Immortal Guardians series) loved for so long, you can enjoy an excerpt in which Beth makes Robert's jaw drop over at Cover Reveals and view the trailer.  :-)

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday.  For today's selection I've chosen a quote from Rendezvous with Yesterday that features Robert and Beth (the hero and heroine) as well as Dillon and Alyssa (the hero and heroine from A Sorceress of His Own).

Ian, by the way, is Dillon and Alyssa's very young son and loves to engage in mock battles with a little wooden sword.  :-)

Please, call me Beth.”

“Then you must call me Alyssa.”  She smiled.  “I wish I could have been here to see Sir Faudron and Sir Stephen’s expressions.”

They turned as one to look across the hall at Stephen just as Ian’s sword hit Stephen squarely in the groin.  Dropping his own sword, the irascible warrior slammed his knees together, cupped himself with both hands, and—whimpering—toppled over onto the floor.

Robert and Dillon both winced.

Beth pursed her lips.  “Too bad he wasn’t still wearing his armor.”

Michael and the other men in the great hall found it wildly amusing, their laughter swelling and echoing off the walls.

Alyssa narrowed her eyes at Dillon.  “Do not dare laugh.”

“I would not,” he said with a grimace.  “Ian has done the same to me on numerous occasions.”

Robert grunted.  “I will not ask if Alyssa healed you.”

Alyssa’s cheeks flushed while Dillon donned a naughty grin.
