Favorite Quote Friday—Phantom Embrace

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had a nice week.  We're being bombarded by storms again, so I'll be staying indoors and getting lots of work done this weekend.  :-)

Did you know you can now follow me on BookBub?  When you do, BookBub will alert you to my New Releases and Sales.  If you'd like to check it out, here's a link to My Profile.

“Duvall's hauntingly beautiful novella, set in the world of the Immortal Guardians, portrays the deep love between two people who can never touch, with a wonderfully unexpected ending.”

It's time once more for Favorite Quote Friday!  Only a month to go until the release of Phantom Embrace, my Immortal Guardians novella that revolves around Yuri (a powerful immortal who spends his nights hunting psychotic vampires) and Catherine (a two-century-old ghost).  It was previously published in the On the Hunt anthology, and is making its solo debut.  :-)  So today I will share a quote from it that features the hero and heroine:
She lowered her head and wished she could rest it upon his chest, feel his heart beating beneath her ear.
“How I wish I could hold you in my arms,” he murmured.
The words mirrored her thoughts so closely he might as well have read her mind. “As do I.”

Have a wonderful weekend!  And stay safe if you're in the path of the storms!

Dianne
